6 Weeks

We celebrated Chloe turning 6 weeks by putting her in her crib. It was hard to go to sleep because I kept watching the monitor lights and listening to all the baby noises. Once I finally went to sleep though, I slept pretty good. She woke up at 2am & 6am for a bottle, but went right back to sleep!

All My Children

Today's tour over at Kelly's Korner is Nurseries/Children's Rooms.

This is Chloe's room and after having 2 boys I was thrilled to decorate a girls room. Lots of love went into this room by several people!

This is Christian and Reed's room. These pictures were taken before I hung stuff on the walls and when the room was actually clean. It doesn't look like this very often. The boys love to play together in their room so I don't mind.

Season's Over

Friday night was Christian's last tball game. We have had lots of fun and met lots of great people through tball. Christian has done very well, but has been a little bored this season. We are all ready to move on to coach pitch! Reed loved going to the games. There were lots of other boys for him to play with. Goodbye tball, bring on the baseball!

Let's Eat!

Kelly's Korner is doing a Show Us Where You Live Home Tour and this week it is dining rooms.

This is the view when you walk in our front door.

This is also a view from walking in the front door. I love the quote on the wall! We love to use our home to build friendships and to show God's love to others.

The beautiful gold square cloth on the table is a gift from our friends Scott & Susan Washa who are missionaries in India. They came to stay with us as "guests" and left as friends! They brought us several things from India that we have all around the house and everytime I see them I say a prayer for them.
Thanks for viewing my Dining Room!

Last Day of Sonshine

Reed went to our church preschool two days a week. This is also where I taught 2 yr. olds up until I had Chloe. We love Sonshine! Reed learned so much this year and enjoyed every minute of it. He had amazing teachers, Ms. Elisa & Ms. Sandy. This is a picture of him on his last day of school. He did not want me to take a picture, so this is all I got.

One Month

In One Month...
we have consistently prayed for you and thanked God for you
we dedicated you to the Lord at church
we went from a family of 4 to a family of 5
we went from only knowing the world of boys to being introduced to the world of girls
we have learned to check for matching bloomers, bows and booties for every outfit
we have changed countless diapers
we have fixed, fed and washed countless bottles
we have enjoyed just staring at you for hours
you have gone from 5 lbs 14 oz. to about 8 lbs.
you went from eating a couple CC's to 4 oz.
you went from wearing preemie to 0-3 month clothes
we have gone on lots of walks
we have enjoyed tons of kisses
you have brought so much joy to our family

Mother's Day & Baby Dedication

See how happy Reed is? He had a melt down right before we walked on to the stage. Makin' Memories!

My sweet baby girl was dedicated to the Lord on Mother's Day. Couldn't be any more perfect!

The boys put on a Mother's Day show for us before bedtime.
Funny boys!!!
I am so thankful for Chance and my kids and feel so very blessed to celebrate with them and my mother, Chance's mother and Chance's grandmother! God is so good!

Field Day

Field day is Christian's favorite day at school! He had a blast!!! It was too hot for Chloe, so we did not get to stay long this year.

Chloe's Room

I realized that I never posted pictures of the finished nursery. I posted them on Rate My Space and I would love for you to rate and comment! (I have learned that the colors in the pictures look off due to the pink walls!)

Sleep!

I know I have said this a million times since Chloe was born, but she really is the best baby!!! Now to add to her being an awesome baby, she is sleeping so great at night. Monday night she slept 5 1/2 hours and last night she slept 6 hours. I know that this may not be an every night thing, but I am so grateful for the past 2 nights and thought I would share a picture of her sleeping. Isn't she precious?

Don't worry this wasn't for the night and she was sleeping right next to me.
