First Dr. Appointment

My mom, the boys and I went to see Dr. Neal today. He did a sonogram so the boys could see the baby and printed them each their own picture to keep. We could see the baby, but not as clearly as we wanted so he sent them all in the waiting room and did the pelvic ultrasound and I got to see the baby and see it's heart flickering. Next time I go I should be far enough along to hear the heart beat. He printed 1 picture from the pelvic ultrasound, I will try and take a picture of it and post it. He confirmed that I am roughly 9 weeks and my due date is April 25th.

Chance had a meeting at work so wasn't able to go with us, so we decided to scare him a little bit. After the appointment I called him and said things were good and he gave me pictures of the babies and he didn't catch it at first then he said what, how many babies, and I just giggled. Then I asked Christian to tell Dad how many babies we are having and he said 3. Chance said what, what did he say (you could hear the fear in his voice). Then I asked Reed to tell Dad how many babies we were really having and he said 1. Chance was very thankful, but not to happy that we were trying to trick him.

Fall T-ball

T-Ball started back up this morning. I am still sad that most of our team moved up to Coach Pitch. We have an all new team except for Christian and one other boy. It felt different! Not bad, just different. I miss the way all the parents meshed instantly and we all cheered for each kid and knew all their names and each boys whole family came to practices and we shared our lives with each other. I know that things change and I am trying to not compare everything to last year, but it is hard. I am so glad that we were blessed with such an amazing experience last year and look forward to watching Christian grow and excel this year, and I hope that all the parents will mesh as the season goes on. Today was hilarious though, we had several kids hit the ball then run the wrong way. We have five 4 year olds, four 5 year olds and Christian is our only 6 year old.

Pregnancy Ramblings

I am so thankful that I have not had any morning sickness. The only thing that has been hard is how tired I am, but who is going to turn down a time period in their life that they get to take as many naps as they want and everyone is ok with it. I have loved hearing how excited the boys are about a new baby. They talk to each other about whether they think it is a boy or girl, how many babies are in my tummy, what they are going to call the baby, etc.. Our first dr. appointment is the 22nd and we are going to let the boys go with us to see the sonogram. Reed keeps asking to see it so maybe this will help. I am 8 weeks and I was reading about the baby and it is now the size of a kidney bean.

Reed's starts school too...

Reed is going to Sonshine Academy at our church again this year. They started last Tuesday. He was very excited to go back to school to see his friends. He had a very exciting first day and talked the whole way home and kept talking until he went to bed!
I am also teaching at Sonshine again this year. I have the oldest group of 2's, they will all turn 3 very soon. We have a very sweet class and it looks like it should be a good year!
